| - This review is for Dr. Jason Morris, a endodontist in the Shalev clinic.
Writing this review has troubled me for some time now. I like Dr. Morris, however I suffered with a toothache for almost 2 years. He was little or no help in solving the problem, the tooth was finally removed in emergency oral surgery last week. The last advice from Dr. Morris was for me to find an ear nose and throat (ENT) doctor.
Dr. Morris performed a root canal August 30, 2016 and billed my insurance $1040.00 and I paid $100.00 co-pay. My regular dentist put a new crown on the tooth billing my insurance $1489.00. The tooth was still was not right, so an apicoectomy was done on October 12, 2017. The insurance was billed $950.00 and $160.00 for a root filling (whatever that is). The tooth was still not right, so I went back again, I think a couple of times. Couldn't find anything, that's when I was told to go find an ENT doctor. I did go to an ENT doctor and eventually had a CT scan of my sinus areas. Nothing there to cause tooth pain. Remember I had a very painful toothache every day while this was going on, waiting for doctors appointments, and looking in vain for help.
Finally on Easter Sunday I just couldn't take the pain anymore and was forced to find an emergency dentist who removed the tooth. He had no problem seeing what was wrong with the tooth. It was expensive, emergency surgery on Easter Sunday, yes expensive.
Thousands of dollars and 2 years of pain, I don't think I'll be getting anymore root canals.
