| - This place was recommended by a friend when I told her I was looking for BBQ buns for an upcoming catering event. I drive past this plaza all the time and I never knew there were so many restaurants and BBQ shops in here. I always thought it was an office building.
Fragrant Bakery is not the easiest place to find. I never expected this tiny plaza to have shops on the inside as well. It's a shopping mall! Anyway, I found it and it looked like they had exactly what I was looking for - small BBQ buns, suitable for a wedding reception.
I purchased several "samples" to evaluate with my colleagues, including BBQ Pork, Curry Beef, Chicken, and Black Sesame. They were the right size and price that I was looking for. Hallelujah!
Unfortunately, when I asked about ordering 100 buns for an event, my question wasn't received so well. In broken English, the two ladies abruptly dismissed me, saying they're too busy to take orders. Hmmm, I'm trying to give them business, a guaranteed sale!
That's too bad. The buns tasted good.
