  • Everything about this place (except my main course) was awesome. Atmosphere - Obviously, its decorated in quasi steampunk fashion- they didn't go overboard, so it feels more natural than sitting in an overly themed restaurant. It's a little dark inside, which is great. Combined with some recessed booths and curtains, it felt sort of like a speakeasy. After we ordered our apps, we noticed two musicians setting up some equipment behind us on the "stage" area. I was initially upset that we'd be sitting so close to live music, but was pleasantly surprised. One musician played a saxophone, and the other a guitar. They played very softly, and it just totally added to the ambiance of this place. Service - Our host, server, and server assistant were very nice, and attentive. A+ for them! Food - This place deserves nation recognition for successfully making chicken pot pie bites. Yes, you heard me right: CHICKEN. POT. PIE. BITES. Here I was, thinking mac and cheese bites were the pinnacle of comfort food-turned appetizer. Id come back here every day if I could. They somehow were able to get chicken, peas, carrots, and that signature chicken pot pie gravy into a bite sized miracle. They should team up with Trader Joe's. If all I got was the chicken pot pie bites, I would've given this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, I also got the chicken and waffles (Im a comfort food kinda guy, can you tell?). And now that I think of it, it wasn't even chicken, it was "game hen." It was honestly, bad. The waffle was the thinnest waffle ever. It was more like a pizzelle. By the time my meal got to me, the citrus/maple glaze made them pretty soggy. You also got what I believe was two breasts, and two wings. My own personal preference with chicken and waffles is a boneless breast (its easier to cut pieces of chicken without bone). It just ended up being difficult to eat... the logistics of cutting up boned chicken and waffle. And not for nothing, but traditional chicken would've been better on this dish (as would a traditional waffle). Entertainment - I am unsure if this is just a weekend thing or not, but we had a magician come over to our table while waiting for our apps to come out. Like the musicians, I immediately rolled my eyes. The magician performed maybe 4 card tricks, and was at our table for a little over 5 minutes. It was actually one of my favorite things about this place! He was friendly, funny, and did not stay at our table for long. Perfect for Vegas. I really enjoyed this place, and would highly recommend this place to future patrons. On top of good food (lets just forget about that chick and waffle incident), good atmosphere and service, the prices for everything were very reasonable (even cheap for Vegas).
