I had read great reviews on yelp about Postino during my pre-trip planning. I had it marked as a won't-go-out-of-my-way-to-eat-here places but would-eat-here-if-the-opportunity-presented-itself places (mainly because of the long wait). I came to the area for Le Grande Orange Grocery but Postino was right there. My friend and I had a late lunch here and got to take advantage of the $5 per glass wine deal from 11am-3pm daily. I love that the wine is served in mini-carafes.
I had the Pick Two deal for $9.50 and had half an Autostrada Panini and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The Autostrada was simply marvelous - proscuitto, sopressata, cappicola, mortadella and provolone with a balsamic vinegrette and olive oil. The bread was incredibly good.
The restaurant is housed in an old post office so it has an industrial feel to it. The decor is hip and the waitstaff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very chill and there is a diverse crowd.
