Gosh this place is so pretty. I've been here before during the Orchid Mania event but this past visit was for the GLOW event, which is what I'll be reviewing on.
As a lover of all things pretty, I wanted to take my Mom to the Botanical Garden to experience all that it has to offer while she was here visiting. I had found out about the GLOW event through Yelp (of course) and thought it would be a perfect outing for us girls. I was right!
Since it's the holidays, the entire place is decorated appropriately: Christmas trees EVERYWHERE, gingerbread houses created by children EVERYWHERE, twinkly lights, poinsettias and other holiday flowers, etc. There were even carolers, which added a beautiful soundtrack as we walked around. Even though it was a little bit chilly, we still went outside to the gardens and walked around the lit up displays. They even had little bonfires set up for people to take the chilly edge out.
My only regret about this visit is that I wish we had arrived there while it was still daylight. I would have loved to see everything before it was all lit up, to kind of get that magical vibe that's only present during this time of year.
