Impressive Food, Prompt Service, Lovely Ambiance
All exceeded my expectations!
14 items tackled by 11 YE! Can't believe we got through most of the food.
There's a variety of ways the food was served which made it such a cool experience. The bowl of the "Stewed Duck with Bamboo Shoot in Broth" was traditional looking. There were sizzling plates with candles to keep them warm for "Barbecue Chicken with Pumpkin Sauce, Sweet chilli Sauce & Pepper", "Teppanyaki Bass", and the "Barbecue Pork". Also the "Braised Beef Brisket with Tomatoes and Potatoes" was in this mini hot pot kind of bowl.
Shoutout to the dessert: "Bread Temptation" an evaporated milk infused block of toast with icecream on top.
My top picks (in no particular order):
Pea Sprouts in Golden Soup - I think it's because I needed to balance out all the meat I was eating. It was cooked to a delicate softnessand the sauce was delicious
Deep Fried Sea Bass in Sweet and Sour Sauce - crispy skin and not many bones in the fish. Nice puckery sweet and sour sauce
Fried Chicken Wings with Salted Egg Yolks - perfectly crispy wings with lots of flavour
Deep Fried Pork Ribs W/ Minced Garlic and Honey - fall off the bone, tender meat
I think I had the most of the watermelon juice and the pear juice. Fresh juice is the best.
Of course my fave part is sharing this with fellow Yelpers in the GTA
