| - First visit impressions:
It's clean (for the most part), bright, spacious and has modern equipment.
*Why I said it's clean for the most part - the women's change rooms were designed well. Plenty of lockers, counter space, hair dryers, storage, coat hangers and trash receptacles. I don't know what it is with women and washrooms at GoodLife gyms. They are messy! Toilets aren't flushed or clogged, toilet paper on the ground, dirty sinks - gross. This location was fairly clean save for the toilets that others forgot to flush. Come on, ladies. Do better.
The gym's layout is simple enough. An abundance of treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines and stair climbers. There's a section with a patch of faux grass and kettle bells - unsure as to what that is used for. There's a high-tech cycling room. Good selection of weight machines (standard and advanced - well, advanced for my level). I spotted one studio - unsure if there are more.
All in all, I think this is a great location. It's modern (as it is still new), the layout is comprehensive and easy to navigate and great change room design. Remember to flush the toilet when you're through with the throne, ok?
