First time here! Saw it on Yelp and decided to try it out as the photos of all the food looked amazing.
The inside was much nicer than I anticipated & we were seated promptly. We came in around 5:30pm on a Wednesday so it wasn't too busy.
The server was very nice and the busser was awesome he kept refilling our water so quickly.
Cajun shrimp pasta was awesome! It was a white sauce and their seasoning was so good not too salty but so much flavor. The shrimp was served on a skewer and they were charred and delicious!
Fettuccini Tocca with short rib (beef) was a red sauce and very flavorful, a little more heart. The beef was tender.
We also got the grilled octopus appetizer which was soooo good!! We also got the tiramisu for desert along with the cappuccino. Although they don't have milk alternatives...
All in all the service and food was awesome.
The only reason I couldn't give this place a 5 star was that l, the owner/manager there, greeted and checked in with all seated and newly seated tables while we were there. He checked on them asking how their service was, food, even having small chats with a few regarding wine and such. Never once did he approach our table. He even stopped by the table next to us just to say hi and see how the guy was. New tables of families were seated and be greeted them all. I just thought it was odd and rude that for whatever reason, not once did he ever stop by our table to say hi or ask how everything was. I even mentioned it to my bf who said that he noticed as well. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way...I mentioned it on a note card they provided with the bill...so hopefully in the future it's something they can keep in mind. If you're going to treat your customers and build that relationship and atmosphere, perhaps that should be done with all. As it seemed they did, with ALL, except one!
