I recently had the best dinner at Tarbell's. My boyfriend and I had dinner here to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations and we immediately were greeted and seated. Our server was very attentive and answered any questions. We started out with the Tuna tartar and the warm bacon candy salad. The chef split the appetizers which was very elegant to have your own special plate of amazing food. I fell in love with the Candy bacon. Wow, perfectly rendered bacon with sugar... it inspired me to make my own. The tuna tartar's presentation was packed with flavor, freshness and eye appealing. For dinner, I ordered the New York steak aged 35 days and packed with pepper and seasoned to perfection. I had this steak years ago here and have never forgotten it. I love the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach that is served with it. This was a fantastic dinner. We had wine with dinner that paired perfectly. The evening was wonderful. The dessert that our waiter brought out with Happy birthday written on it was Mascarpone Cheesecake with Rosemary sauce. EXCELLENT!!!! It's by far one of the best cheesecakes in my book. The sauce is extraordinary!! Carmel and Rosemary.... it works so wonderful together. Thank you Tarbell's and staff for a great Birthday dinner.
