| - Several years ago, I bought several pieces of furniture from another location of Value City, and I had a good experience, so I decided to give this location a try now that I was looking for living room furniture. My husband and I made three visits to this location. Each time, salespeople said hello to us immediately upon entering the store, but they did not make suggestions for furniture. We looked at their selection many times and sometimes had to wait several minutes to find a salesperson to answer our questions. Most recently, we asked for the length of a love seat and chaise combination, a salesperson told us that it was too long to fit in our elevator, and then she walked away. Later that day, I was looking at the Value City website, and I saw--and confirmed with an online chat--that the length that the in-store salesperson gave us was for two separate pieces of furniture together rather than one piece, and they actually would have worked for us. Well, we ended up buying our couch from another store. Value City lost our business!
