The beau and I came in late on a Friday night, but the restaurant was still packed. No wait, quickly seated over at a booth near the bar.
We each ordered a drink - I had a margarita (fairly good, had better!) and he had a draft beer (Modelo - can't go wrong!)
At first the service was fairly good - we quickly received water and the drinks that we had ordered from the bar, but then after that it was like we were nonexistent.
We ordered cheese dip that took forever to come out (very nice portion size I might add though). Their salsa taste like marinara sauce and its watery- it's horrible. However, their hot salsa (upon request) is great though, if you haven't tried it- and care for spicy-it's wonderful!
We sat and waited for almost 25 minutes when I finally got up and found our waiter and told them we were ready to order. Then by that time we sat for another 30 minutes waiting on our food when they weren't even that busy!
The food it's self was pretty good though, I had chicken fajitas and the seasoning on the fajitas part was great! My boyfriend had a chicken quesadilla and he really enjoyed.
However, at the end of the night when it was all said and done we decided that we wouldn't be back here unless we were in a pinch for something quick. We decided that there were other Mexican restaurants with better customer service in Charlotte!
