Atmosphere: We went to Lucky Foo's on a Saturday night and it was pleasantly quiet. We sat at a booth that was situated between the sushi bar and the main dining area. It was dark, intimate, but trendy and comfortable.
Food - We got six things: 1) Foo dogs - good bite for someone that may not be too adventurous. 2) Emiyaki - yummy egg-roll hush puppy. 3) Shrimp with Jalapeño Bacon Robata - Good flavor but hard to get it off the skewer. 4) Pork Belly - was okay as it was fatty and not sauce or glaze on it. 5) Jalapeño Yellowtail - So good!!!!!! Must try!!!!!!! 6) Lucky Rice - It is a kimchi fried rice and was sooooooooo delicious!!!! Good thing about this place is that food comes out when it is ready, the way we like it!
Drinks: Hibiscus Martini - for someone that like things sweet. Moscow Mule - Love that it is served in a copper cup and was very refreshing.
Service: Sandy (our waitress) was wonderful! She was attentive and got out drink orders quickly. We ensured we had water at all times and drinks replenished. We asked her about Brunch and she was great at explaining the menu.
This is a perfect place for us to become a local.
