| - This place is a disaster. It seems like they have been renovating it for what seems like forever, and this is what makes it a nightmare.
If you're coming from the TTC (like I was), you'll note that there aren't a lot of accessibility ramps linking both Union Station and the TTC together. This poses a problem for people who have a disability but also for folks who have luggage. It looks as if they are trying to work on this, but right now, it's an issue.
Inside Union Station, the signage is a mess. It's hard to make out if you're coming or going from one end of the station or the other. If this is your first time in the station, you might get a little lost. But just breathe and give yourself some extra time to navigate the station. I know that anytime I'm here, I always get a bit of anxiety trying to get through here.
Since undergoing renovations, there have been a lot more retailers added for all your traveling needs including Starbucks, Tim Horton's, Pilot Coffee, Booster Juice, Bagel Stop, Amano Pasta, Union Chicken and more. So no need to eat a stale $10 sandwich on the way to whatever your destination you're off to.
Happy travels and good luck!
