  • Under normal circumstances I would rate EVS with 5 stars. However, my recent experience with Jerry Hunt has been a nightmare to say the least. Let me provide some background. I have placed orders with other companies for Team stores (i.e Eastbay) I have never had a problem with an order until I placed one with East Valley Sports. I am utterly disgusted by the service I received from this one employee. I had called on numerous occasions to check the status of my order. I also informed the employee to CALL me when the order was ready and I would personally pick it up. The employee took down my information and he said he would call me. A little more background, I have placed an order for football cleats prior to this one. The school was able to deliver the football cleats to my son while he was on the bus heading to camp. (Which is crap) Needless to say, my son had to break in his new shoes at camp. He came home from camp and his feet were blistered and bleeding among other things. Now that I have provided a little more background. This is why I wanted to pick up the order I had PAID for. My son has a game tomorrow and we are NOT in receipt of any of the items I PAID for. The employee provided numerous excuses. The last excuse was to refund me my money. With the game tomorrow, how is this solution going to improve the current situation? A better solution would be to deliver the items I purchased to my doorstep TONIGHT! This a total shame. When my son was in track I never had a problem! I am always greeted at EVS when I go in person and love the customer service and the knowledge of the staff!! I am extremely grateful for those employees. EVS you have penetrated the market for athletic gear for schools. The high volume of orders placed is expected. I would think you would have a better strategy in place to handle the volume and meet customer satisfaction. According to your website, "East Valley Sports values its relationships with customers and enjoys working with them one on one to deliver the best service and assure you get what you want when you want it" This is not the case in my situation!
