  • Mmmmmmacarons!!! Although I enjoy them, I usually find macarons overly sweet but these ones were just perfect in sweetness. They were delicious and perfect and the salty caramel flavour was amazing and creamy and honestly the best macaron I've ever had. The croissants were also excellent; flaky but substantial, with a nice buttery flavour. And even though I bought them at the end of the day and then walked 3 km in the rain (uphill!!) then left them in the bag for a few hours, they were still fresh and delicious. I'm sure they're even better if you get them earlier and not at the end of the day like me. The espresso was high quality; what you would expect from a good bistro or bakery but not a dedicated coffee shop like dark horse or sense appeal which would be serving something complex and ordered exactly to taste. The person who helped me was friendly and helpful, giving me recommendations where I asked and not making me feel stupid for asking basic questions about the food and prices.
