| - I'm a pretty active person and love trying and playing sports. So, from time to time, I like to come here and humble myself with the reality that golf is still something I suck at. After slicing and shanking away, I usually get in a comfort zone and start to hit fairly far and accurate-making myself feel better. If I can't do that, I'll just look around at the hundreds of people there that are struggling even worse than me-and that'll make me feel better instead.
The food and drinks here are really good, a bit more elevated than your standard sports bar type food. Some cocktails are a bit pricey, but, the more you drink the less you care about your crappy golf swing so you tend to go with it regardless. Atmosphere is fun, always neat to come with friends. If you are good at golf, bring your friends here and revel in the fact that you are superior to them.
Sometimes, the popularity of the place is a bit overwhelming so it gets a bit crazy. Going in the AM is both cheaper and less chaotic. I do sometimes get scared when a lane of children is next to me. Between the fear that their swing is so bad that I'll get hit and their erratic approach/follow-through that causes me to worry their about to tumble over the edge, it can be a be unnerving.
