| - FIRST!
Same scrumptious pastries as the ex-Mississauga location, but even MORE variety...at a new-ish plaza just down the street from Whole Foods.
Like in their old location, it's a counter with a coupla glass showcases where their pastries are displayed, but just larger location. They also do have coffee, to buy, set up.
As pictured from top, I got a Killer Snail ($3.25, quite large), a marzipan cake with chocolate ($3.25), and an Apricot Spandauer ($2.50). Most items were in this price range.
Killer Snail - The dough was a bit more bready-cake like as opposed to the smaller snails which are more flaky in texture. Sorta like a cinnamon roll with various fillings like Raspberry, Chocolate, & Custard. I had the custard one. This was my bf's fav!
Spandauer - Buttery, flaky texture with almond paste inside. I liked this one!
Marzipan Cake - I really liked this one too, although it's on the sweet/dense side as with most marzipan.
Service was friendly and patient. Staff will come to the showcase, answer questions about pastries, box up your goods, etc.
I am sad that they moved out of my city, but happy for their business as they'll probably attract more clients. Despite the distance, I'll definitely be back!
