Purchased a Lane Sofa Recliner set from nice lady at JC Penny. We ordered the extra special "warranty". We got the sofa and the arms were low in filler fabric and the seat trim was unraveling after a few months. We called warranty service that said it wasn't covered! Frustrated we called JC Penny and they did send someone out to honor the repair. Now the pull cord for recliner came completely out of its mechanism. Have been waiting now for the repair parts and no one at the JC Penny Furniture Repair seems to be able to function. We had a repairman call us at 6:45am(!) yesterday to come out but he knew nothing about any parts ( we have to pay the repairman). It has been going on now for several weeks and we are just about to toss the sofa and go look for a new one! As nice as the lady at the store was- the people behind her are not really behind her and in my opinion , the sofa should have been replaced after the first issues- it has been downhill all the way. I say- fix the issue Penny's or stop selling furniture.
