Yo..where to begin?! This place is awesome. Let's start with the staff. Patrick was just a GEM! He knew the menu so well, but he encouraged us to be creative and even suggested some of his favorite items and changes to his favorite items! Then, we got to meet Michael..who is probably the head chef because he was talking about doing all kinds of cool stuff with the food. These guys were a wealth of knowledge and we really enjoyed chatting with them about not just food, but also the philosophies of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope! It was great. Now onto the food!! I was so excited when Patrick told me I wasn't shackled by the strictures of the description of the "Rock and Roll Waffle" and he allowed me to have my fried egg on the side, instead of on top of my waffle (as the menu stated) The menu ALSO made it seem as though I couldn't even HAVE a Waffle. I understand that they typically don't keep the irons all all night, which makes sense but I was SO excited when Patrick vetoed that bullshit! Rejoice!! My companion ordered the Strawberry Road cakes and here is his review: "The burst of flavor was positively sinful. I felt as if the pancakes, aided by the bouquet of whipped cream and strawberries, kissed my palette in ways that made me uncomfortable..in the best way." So yeah..you should probably go here.
