| - Looking for a gym over run with malicious and uncontrolled children?
ILKB is just the place for you! When you sign up it is made clear that children aren't allowed inside (like all other gyms) because there is no day care area. The mom's who go here always bring in their monster kids. On the low end there are 4-7 children on the benches right near the mat that stare, take pictures nonconsensually, and laugh at out of shape women. It is also not uncommon for mothers to "control" their nightmarish children with videos blasting at volumes so loud you can't hear the trainers. The staff does absolutely nothing to stop this issue. This gym doesn't follow the contract they make you sign and won't release you from it's bindings even after you confront them about it. As an advanced karate fighter, I have experience in self defense and martial arts. In joining ILKB I was hoping for a hard work out that taught technique. The workouts are poorly explained and extremely repetitive. In my time at this gym I've seen several injuries due to never being taught proper form. I wish I could warn everyone to keep away from this company as they have horrible customer service. They are notoriously awful for never returning calls, scamming people out of money, and not responding to complaints. As someone who frequents fitness, this place is well not worth the cost. Unless you are looking for a over crowded, kid infested, poorly run money sham I would avoid ILKB as a company like the plague. My sincere recommendations for those looking to get tougher and actually learn some self defense are- Hiro Karate, Las Vegas Athletic Club, Camp Rhino, and the YMCA. All of those are owned and operated with amazing customer service and provide results for a reasonable price.
Take it from me, don't work out here.
