OMG such a bad experience. We've been wanting to try Burger Theory for a while now and we're sorry we did.
We got seated in a booth which was right under a tv while a football game was on, everyone was turned around at the bar seats completely facing us so they could watch the tv that was right above us and it was super awkward and uncomfortable. We asked to move to a table and they said they were unavailable, which they weren't because I saw many open, so I asked about a different open booth. They had one so we got seated and it was even worse! Now we had every table nearby AND the bar seats facing us so they could watch the game. SO LAME!!! We were still uncomfortable and saw a table being cleaned so we decided to move ourselves for the 3rd time lol. Those tv's are in the worst locations its a stupid setup.
After we were finally a bit more comfortable at our table our food came out after a while....... the fries were barely warm and turned cold within minutes. The burgers were skimpy and bland. The patty was super greasy and tasteless! They dropped off the burgers and just walked away without asking if we needed anything and I was hoping to get some ranch for my fries but by the time our server checked on our food my fries were already cold and it was pointless to ask for some. I had ordered the Philly, supposedly the fries do not come with the burger and are an extra charge. When they take the order they make it seem like it comes with and dont inform you that its separate. Our bill ended up being $33 something for 2 tiny bland burgers and 2 drinks... WOW. Very unexpected. We left $35 which we felt bad for because the server was pretty nice. His name was Larry. But for the experience we had we just couldn't pay much more than they already charged.. never going back. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming as well.. we much rather would've spent our money elsewhere. Ive had better quality at fast food joints... sorry to say. I cant believe people are impressed with this place!
