| - The absolute best! Wow, honestly, the best experience I had in planning my wedding. My wedding was originally a very small affair with me, my fiance and 4 of our friends. It quickly grew to well over 40 people and everything had to change. I was pulling my hair out researching wedding cake vendors and I was beside myself trying to figure out how to do what we needed to do. Then, I found Las Vegas Custom Cakes.
I emailed Joe and explained what I wanted to do and asked him to suggest a solution. He did. It was so easy. We exchanged a few emails and it was all settled. I loved that Joe understood what I wanted to achieve and came up with plan that not only delivered the end result but within my budget.
The day before my wedding I went to pick up my order. I had had the absolute worst couple of weeks ever and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I was moving, my wedding dresses had been lost, my reception venue was backing out, the flower order never got placed and I was 29 hours late leaving Los Angeles for Vegas on top of it all. When I walked in the woman at the counter presented me with my order and I literally started crying. Joe came over and asked what was wrong. I told him nothing was wrong, I was crying because the cake, the cupcakes and the cake pops were perfect; beautiful and perfect. I was crying because it was the first thing that had gone right in weeks. I was so happy.
My order:
12 Sheet Pops - $120 (chocolate cake)
6" Cake - 9 servings - $115 (red velvet cake)
6 Nicely decorated Jumbo cupcakes - $45 with 3 ivory iced and 3 pink iced & nicely decorated (vanilla cake, chocolate filling)
12 Standard Jumbo cupcakes - $42 with buttercream rosette swirl (6 pink, 6 ivory) (vanilla cake, cookies & cream filling)
24 Mini's - $48 with all Ivory Icing and matching shade Pink Glitter (chocolate cake)
The Red Velvet was my favorite out of all the items I ordered. OMG was it tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious and my guests loved the cupcakes. We had a lot of health nuts who went bonkers about the mini cupcakes, and some sweet tooths like me, who devoured the jumbo cupcakes and red velvet cake.
The sheep pops were a big hit, too. My husband finds sheep funny, anything to do with sheep, so I thought for the groom's cake, to do sheep pops. He horded them and ate them one by one over our honeymoon. I managed to eat one, and it was delicious.
You can't go wrong with Joe and his team.
