A climbing friend invited me to join him and his climbing partner at Agave. When in Vegas I typically spend my dining time at one of the Asian restaurants on Spring Mountain and was somewhat skeptical of a place in yet another nondescript Vegas strip mall.
Firstly thumbs up to the outdoor fireplaces, which took the edge off the cool evening. I didn't sample the alcoholic beverages partly b/c I'm not a big drinker and partly b/c I was on my motorcycle. I ordered the pescado verde, which was a grilled tilapia fillet over cilantro rice with a creamy green sauce. It was above average for Vegas fare, and given its proximity to Red Rocks probably one of the better post-climbing dining options.
