Tip to those that hate dealing with rental car companies: sign up for their easy check-out option where you don't even have to deal with a human. I'm a member of Budget's FastBreak service, so I skipped the line and went right to a spot where my car was already assigned and my rental agreement printed out.
They stuck me with a Kia Sol, and I think of Kias as shit cars. I went to the window to see if I had any other options, and they did tell me about another car or two I could pick from. But they told me why the Sol was better, so I decided to stick with it. Been driving it for 2 days and it's not bad for a bottom rental car level car. I've had way worse.
Haven't returned the car, yet, but I don't anticipate any problems.
