| - This was the worst car buying experience of my life!! I would give it 0 stars if I could!!
First, I told the salesman that I was paying cash, as I didn't want to run my credit or need to finance. He responded by saying that the advertised price would go up if I didn't use their financing, even though that is not stated anywhere on their website. After negotiating, I was able to get the advertised price, even though I shouldn't have had to negotiate that.
Second, it was the most high pressure environment I have ever shopped in. The salesman called me repeatedly and even asked, "What's wrong with you?", when I didnt comeback to the dealership as quickly as he hoped.
Finally, when I made the mistake of buying the car there anyway, the salesman asked for my info in a way that sounded like a credit app. I asked him if he was running my credit even though I was paying cash and did not want my credit run. He told me that they were not running my credit but needed the info for the paperwork and titling. When I made it to the business office, the finance manager mentioned the interest rates that I could get with my credit even though I explicitly stated I was paying cash. I said, "You didn't run my credit did you?" He replied by saying no, and that he was just sharing some of the possible rates. However, 2 days later I received an email stating that my credit score went down due to a hard inquiry that had been made by this dealer, even though they said they didn't do that. BOTH THE SALESMAN AND FINANCE MANAGER LIED TO MY FACE!!!! If you need a Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep, please go somewhere else. You will thank yourself.
