I heard about TAO many many years ago. This is the place you can find your celebrities dining at. I knew one day I had to come here. Well last week it finally happened. The atmosphere is what really sells this place in my opinion. If you are looking for a romantic date night spot look no further. The dimmed lighting and red interiors make this place feel super lux.
I called that same day to see if I could make reservations for 8:30 on a Saturday night and they were completely booked. However we were able to snag a seat at the sushi bar around that time.
I hope went with the chicken gyoza and the Buddha's harmonized vegetable feast. I really would have preferred soup dumplings as I am not a big potsticker fan. They were good, but didn't blow me away. Now the Buddha's harmonized vegetables were my favorite. You get a pretty nice sized bowl of vegetables and udon noodles tossed in soy sauce. Personally, I think this is the place you go for the atmosphere more so than the food.
