My experience began well, it was after I spent hours there waiting and arranging to have someone else there during the procedure when I got frustrated. I called the day before and explained my situation, I was informed not to eat or drink large amounts of fluids 8 hours before the appointment in case I needed to be put to sleep for the procedure.
While in the office, I drank approx 1/4 bottle of water to take medication. With my bottle of water on the counter next to me the entire morning, no one ever told me not to drink it. I was actually given water during my oral examination.
I was told as I took my seat to go under to have my wisdom teeth removed, that the procedure could not be done because the last sip of water I took was an hour before.
The frustration is that someone could have told me this! I had to arrange for a friend to be there for the procedure, they billed my credit card (which is still on hold) and I wasted an entire half of a day! Unfortunately, this was the only few days I have to get this done, and now I will have to wait over a month.
My insurance will get billed for x-rays and examinations. This will now come out of MY pocket at the next office I visit.
I am NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!
