My daughter just got home from the hospital after surgery and her pain meds were wearing off so I took her pain meds prescription to get it filled. They weren't busy at all. I was the only customer there. They said they couldn't fill it for 2 hours. I explained the situation and was informed they wud be closing for lunch in 15 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation to her. She told me that they only get 30 minutes for lunch and she worked 13 hour shifts. So... her problem is now my problem? And they obviously don't care about their "valued" customers. I asked her, as a medical professional, does she not care that her client is in pain? She had no response. THEN she told me I could take the prescription to Walgreens or CVS - "They don't close for lunch". OK, thanks, I will!!! And I did!!! (The Walgreens just down the street at Windmill has fantastic service!!). The irony: they could have filled this prescription in the time it took to have this conversation, but they chose to alienate a customer instead. My daughter says she will never go there again and neither will I.
