| - I'm in *so* much trouble.
Today the hubby and I went for a walk down the Junction, and had wound up zeroing in on Delight; home of Handmade, Organic, and Fair Trade chocolate, ice cream and other yummy desserts.
We brought some chocolate pieces home, including the Dark Chocolate Bark with Spiced Nuts ($3.49 for two well-sized pieces), and two regular sized solid chocolate bars (.99 each, one milk and one dark).
And this is where I'm in trouble. Where can I possibly feel guilty about purchasing and eating these delectable treats, when they're organic, fair trade certified, locally made, preservative free, and well priced?
Even the hubby, who usually despises the dark variety, walked away happily nomming on the delicious spiced nut bark.
So, is it possible to feel guilty about NOT feeling guilty? Because that was the thing about chocolate; it's supposed to taste better from being that guilty secret every woman had hidden behind the eggs in their fridge right?
But tonight, I had a gratifying piece of the spiced nut bark for dessert without the requisite.
Delight is run by the husband and wife team of Jeff Brown and Jennifer Rashleigh (the latter being the former restauranteur and pastry chef of Citron).
I feel like sending them a Thank You card for moving on to Delight.
