  • Some ways a 3, some ways a 4, with a 5 here and there. Awesome that they have reclaimed this building. My room was very spacious, high ceiling. Wood floor was great. The rooms are also QUIET, and the bed furnishing comfortable. The work area was VERY good. My pet peeve (as a business traveler) is when there's a drawer under the work area of the desk, and the over-stuffed desk chair won't come within a foot of the work area. Ergonomic nightmare, sore arms - and an inability to work. This work table was perfect - no drawer, enough space, and a lamp with electrical outlets in the base for the laptop and phone. The chair was comfy. Given the old design of the building, thick walls, etc., the wifi was problematic. It cut in & out. I could not receive or send emails routinely, and had to reboot - or wait until I was elsewhere to send. The historic nature of the building is such that the "lobby" consists of two standing work stations in a long, drafty hallway. I realized that, although I rarely sit in a lobby, curl up with a newspaper or watch CNN - I did miss having a semblance of a lobby when there wasn't one. When traveling w others for work, the hotel lobby is a convenient meeting spot. There is no convenient place to sit if you'll need to do this. Staff was nice, helpful, and competent.
