| - I love Petsmart. I've always shopped in their store, went to Banfield and used the groomers for the dogs I've had. I did all these things with my Goldendoodle in Cleveland, so when we moved to Pittsburgh, I figured it'd be easy to transfer over.
I made an appointment for him to get groomed. They had to move it back 5 hours because the groomer who was "assigned" to me couldn't make it at that time. When we arrived for the delayed appt, there were four employees standing around chatting. They all looked at me when I came in and resumed their conversation. It was a few minutes before someone else helped me. Not a great start....
She comes over to my dog and me and says he needs to be completely shaved. He's a goldendoodle, with really short, curly hair, and I point this out to her. She says it's matted. It's NOT matted--I know matted--it's CURLY. I brush it, and it curls again. She's adamant that he needs to be entirely shaved. I tell her I don't want that, and she says we can reschedule.
I drove 25 minutes both ways to have my dog not groomed here. I'm sorry, but I didn't trust what she was saying, and I didn't want to leave my dog there with someone who didn't know what they were talking about.
