We were here on a Friday night and we were one of the first to arrive as soon as their dinner service started. We had the foie gras croquettes which we loved. It had a warm melted foie gras concuction inside a crisp outer shell. Delicious! I had the Ploque a Champlain which was an appetizer that i had as my main course. It was buckwheat pancake, ham, cheese, foie gras drizzled with maple syrup. I was very disappointed as it was coyingly sweet for me. It was drowning in sweet sauce and the pancake soaked even more of the sweet syrup. I had to ask for a separate plate to transfer my food away from the pool of sauce. Looking back I should've complained. My husband had the halibut with scallops which was good but also drowning in sauce. We had a drink each and no dessert and our bill with tip was around $150. The experience wasn't great for me that night....there was too much noise... servers rushed here and there. It felt chaotic even with a few diners at the beginning of service.
