I wanted to do three things while in Vegas. Pool time was one of them. Out of the 3 nights we were there, we spent two mornings at the pool: Thursday, July 9th & Friday, July 10th. We got there around 9-10am every morning. They have a number of pools, so it was never too difficult to find 5 chairs together. We ended up at the Producer's pool both days.
The only down side was waitresses were hard to find at times. It typically took about a good 20-30 mins before we spotted a server. Plus, being poolside, prices for drinks are high. We got a bucket of bud lights, three specialty cocktails with a souvenir cup and two bottles of water for around $125. Thank goodness for hotel comps as we got most of our pool bill comped due to our time gaming.
The one thing I wish we did was the lazy river. We never got a chance to check that out. If I ever stay at MGM again, I'll make sure to go.
