| - So I'm sitting here, balling my head off because not only am I having to cancel my wedding but we now have to find a new place to live. I know this place clearly states they only refund 50% of the cost back to you but I thought maybe if I called and explained that they could at least let me talk to someone of authority then maybe they'd understand and allow us our full refund. So I called just now, and Marina was very nice, as she always is, but I still asked to talk to a supervisor and she went and got him for me. I explained to him, in tears, that we need as much money as we can get our hands on right now because we need to move and can't afford to right now. I told him we get by month to month already as it is and that I know the policy and that I just need their help. His response, "We are helping you by giving you your 50%" and he passed the phone back to Marina, without so much as an "I'm sorry." No sympathy, no compassion, almost robotic. I might as well have called an automated system. This place may be amazing to you at first but once things go south for you, it seems they take pleasure in kicking you while you're down. A couple places I had made nonrefundable commitments to made exceptions because of the circumstances and this guy was just pure evil about the whole thing. I couldn't even contain myself enough to say goodbye to Marina (probably the only reason this place makes any money.) I'm just so upset and distraught and can't believe this is all happening to me. Hate this place, wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
