| - Went to this place, on saturday around 8:30 pm. We sat on the improvised wooden terraza, we ordered drinks (Canadian Whisky on the rocks for me, and a white Ribera del Duero for my wife), we asked for an ashtray and ordered pulpo. The waitress, a short brown haired girl with a piercing in her lip, was polite but un-attentive; she recommended ordering a platter of cheese because it had bread so it would be more filling! Lol!
The pulpo tapa was a small piece of octopus tentacle and a few bits of potato's on a tiny plate. At 12 dollars it is pricey. This type of tapa is served in Granada for free with a purchase of a beverage, in Madrid, it would be around 2 or 3 euros.
The waitress never brought the ashtray. She flew by a couple of times, not even looking toward us. We decided not to eat there and instead go to another place and asked for a check. The Waitress brought the card reader to the table and when she saw I was leaving her 10% as her tip started getting angry and demanded we pay 15%. My wife hates this type of situations :))), so I decided not to tell the waitress how generous I was leaving her the 10% and just paid the 15% she demanded (she literally said: 15% is a minimum you can leave here!)
Oh, and after we got up I noticed my wife barely touched her wine. instead of Ribera del Duero they brought a glass of cheap Alicante wine, but she did not say anything, because she hates confrontations and arguing in public.
On a more positive note: the Canadian Whisky was splendid, and the pulpo was very tender. However, I would not go back to this place, or recommend it to my friends.
