  • I have had so many issues with walgreens the last few weeks! and this visit last night tops the cake. My children and I recently had new insurance, but we didn't have card copies yet. I called ahead when I filled my sons RX and gave them the information verbally over the phone after I had called the insurance to make sure I had it. No big issues other than the first person I talked to refused to take the information over the phone. Then about two weeks ago I went into to have my monthly RX filled, I called ahead to make sure it was ready. I got to the pharmacy and some little magic elf had changed all my personal information to my old address and it even went as far as to change my last name to my Maiden last night- and then the tech continued to argue with me that no one made changes. I pulled the pill bottle just to prove my point and all she could say was "Oh". no I'm sorry no let me fix this. Now last night, I go to get my daughters RX, I advised the girl at the window that she had new insurance, unfortunately I hadn't gotten a copy of her new card yet from her dad but that the correct information was in both mine and her brothers profiles if she could get it from them. She flat out replied "no" I can pay cash pay. I was like uh... are you serious? so I quick called their dad and he sent me a copy of the insurance card- but according to the girl that wasn't the information she needed. Then the pharmacist stepped in and told her she can get the information from my account since I was there and gave her permission. So she did but she made it a point to show her aggravation with her huffing and puffing. After that was all cleared, I told her I also need to get childrens motrin and acetaminophen. She just starred at me. They had a sign in the window that they had these available through drive through so I pointed at it and then she realized what I was talking about. She asked if I wanted liquid or pills... thinking to myself- childrens is only showing available in liquid so I said "liquid" she holds up the ADULT Liquid pills. I corrected her and said I needed childrens dosage. she seemed so confused. After the 3rd attempted she finally got it right. If this women doesn't understand what people are asking why is she even working in the pharmacy?! That drive through took over 30 minutes!
