I've eaten here twice--once for takeout and another for happy hour. Their happy hour is great for those on a budget who still enjoy great sushi--they offer rolls like shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and others for around $5. They also have these great little sushi tostadas for $1 during HH, which are a fun snack.
I also tried the amaebi, or sweet raw shrimp (not on the HH menu). They told me that I could get *live* shrimp--so I went for it! It was the freshest tasting shrimp I've ever had.
I like the ambiance here--it's a true neighborhood joint. A lot of people came to the sushi counter to talk to the sushi chefs, and the waiters seemed familiar with regulars.
The only complaint I had was the rice. It's kind of like a brown rice? Doesn't seem too authentic. And rice is like 80% of good sushi.
All in all though, definitely worth a try!
