Probably been here half a dozen times and have always had enjoyable experiences. Highly recommend the American Crunch Burger -- pimento cheese, potato chips (on the burger, you get choice of a side), bacon, lettuce, and tomato -- absolutely delicious, albeit pretty pricey (15.95). The Bangers and Mash entree is also a favorite of mine. The bar has a great list of craft beer as well, and the selection goes well beyond Olde Meck and Noda Brewing, which are both fine, but can get old after being featured ubiquitously in Charlotte bars and restaurants.
As mentioned in previous reviews, parking is tight. Must be Tupelo Honey folks because this place is never crowded when I go. Went the Sunday before MLK day to catch an NFL playoff game and I was the only one in the restaurant OR bar area at 8:30pm -- so can't say it is has the most vibrant atmosphere.
