What a waste of time. We arrived at 6:50pm, 5 minutes late. Party of 4. The hostess said that we would be seated shortly that they had run out of menus. We waited for 10 minutes and then told the hostess that we would be OK setting at the table and waiting for the menus instead of standing in the lobby area. No problem. The restaurant was half full, maybe. And they were short menus? After setting for around 10 minutes they brought us two menus and said more was on the way. 5 minutes later they brought another and 5 minutes after that they brought the 4th. 30 minutes to get 4 menus. Really? They were going to have us stand in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for menus? Setting was better.
Our waiter was nice but after all was done he was not a good fit for the restaurants price point, cliental and general feel. The support staff were always on top of it, our waiter was not. Every step took a painful amount of time. From the menu issue to getting the check. Setting and waiting, setting and waiting.
As an aside the food was great. I would love to expound more but after our experience it's not worth my time. To bad.
And this review might not have even been made if not for the final slap in the face. Our guests were from out of town (we live here) and upon leaving they decided to approach the manager and let him know what happened. He refused to talk to them. What kind of manager blows off the very people who support his job? We had paid the bill and were not looking for any discount or such. Contact was refused. I will not go back again and as a local I will let everyone know about the shoddy treatment the manager chose. He should be ashamed.
