  • Maybe my expectations for Eleven were too high. I do love a lot of Big Burrito, and with Eleven billed as "contemporary American," I thought it would be a runaway heart-stealer. Unfortunately, I found the food to be pretentious without any reason to be, boring at best, and occasionally just gross. I'm a vegetarian, so maybe their meat dishes are better. If a restaurat goes so far as to have a veg tasting menu, I'd expect something above average for the veggie diners.The signature drinks seemed exciting on paper, but failed to deliver in person. I do remember the bathroom as luxuriously delightful, though.
