  • Booked a mani and pedi before an upcoming trip to Mexico as a "special treat". I had seen many pictures of Distilled and it truly is a gorgeous place, I was also very into the idea of being able to enjoy a glass of wine during my treatment. I heard mixed reviews leading up to the appointment but kept the appointment because I wanted a first-hand experience. Overall the quality of the polish job is pretty good, I did a regular polish on my toes and gel on my fingers. I did book the more basic pedicure which didn't include a soak which was a bit different than other places and there was definitely less "pampering" pre-polish application. I went at the end of the day so they did add in a hot towel which isn't part of the service because there were spares which I appreciated. The manicure was also pretty basic for the "pampering" part of the service, no soak, some nail maintenance and the polish job. Overall for the price, it's just okay, there are other nail places in Calgary that offer a much more extensive pampering service for the same or less. It's nice to be able to enjoy wine with your service but again other places offer this and at $11 for a 6oz glass, it's not cheap. Overall so-so experience in a very pretty building.
