  • My first stay at a Kimpton Hotel Monaco was fantastic. Of the choices in the downtown P'burgh, this place is a No-Brainer - stylish, luxurious, clean, AND a free happy hour plus mini bar credit for Karma members!! I had a room near the elevator, which concerned me for 2 seconds, until I closed the heavy solid wood door to my room and realized that it was extremely quiet -- I heard zero noise from adjacent rooms or the elevators. It was so quiet and comfortable that when I woke up in the morning, I thought I was at home in my own bed. The Commoner restaurant was an excellent breakfast choice too - food was excellent and the prices were what you would expect at a hotel. They also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the a.m. Service was friendly and accommodating. Loved it!
