  • Superficially, the Nuvo is pretty good. Convenient location, parking, free calling and wi-fi, non-generic decor, and good service over the phone. Unfortunately when you look a little closer, it's not that great. The white painted floors get nasty immediately from your shoes, the coffee is crappy and stingy, there was only one robe, the outside stairs are lethally slick, the parking lot is awkward, everything is a little beat up around the edges, and people cooking in the other rooms, combined with ill-fitting doors and inadequate range vents, permeate the entire place with a weird funk. I'd say it is more like an expensive upscale hostel rather than a boutique hotel. We may stay here again because of the location, but we won't seek it out.
