| - We ate here a few weeks ago, and I'm still thinking about the goat cheese and mascarpone dip. If you could read my mind, that statement would speak for itself, but since you can't (I hope), let me tell you what you're missing if you haven't experienced this appetizer yet. This is not like any sort of cheesy dip you might have had before. This is a warm scoop of creamy, delicious cheese covered in marinara sauce, served with perfectly toasted bread. The challenge here is to get just the right proportion of cheese and sauce in every bite. We finished off the toast and were still scraping the bowl with bread from the bread basket, which is freshly baked in-house. I don't even like goat cheese very much, but this blend of cheeses was just right.
I also had the angel hair with tomato basil sauce, which was perfectly done. The sauce really has to stand out in a simple dish like this, and this sauce was up to the task. I think next time, though, I might try something a little more complex--maybe the cheese ravioli.
