It was my very first time at Yoga Village and my very first time taking a Yoga class or touching anything Yoga-related. I took the Level 1 Basics class. The receptionist (I so wish I remembered her name!) was very nice and helpful, letting me know that this class was perfect for beginners and reassured me that it was going to be great when I expressed that I was nervous. She even took the extra step to let the substitute instructor know that it was my very first Yoga class, and I was introduced to her. She remembered my name throughout the whole session and gave me some helpful pointers on my positions during the session.
Overall, I can't wait to go back to my next class. I have pretty bad sciatic lower back pain and after many efforts of trying to get it worked out through massage and chiropractic work, my friends convinced me that Yoga would be the answer. I am excited to watch myself become stronger and see how it benefits my back!
