  • 1st impression failure. Mind you that we already have bi-weekly cleaning from another company and have no pets. Standard one time price to try The Maids out is $129 for one hour. The company we already use sends two people and they average 1.5 hours for $65 that includes basic landscaping. This company provided 5 people and didn't even cover the basics that the website states. They missed the wall plates for the light switches upstairs (toddler finger prints), only vacuumed my 3yr old's room (didn't dust, pick up or make the bed), didn't sweep or mop the kitchen or half bath downstairs, missed dusting the kitchen blinds and only one door and two vents were wiped down/vacuumed. The staff was very personable as was the owner Kate, but they showed up almost 2 hours early. (Kate called to notify that they were going to be an hour early) The crew were very disorganized (no apparent lead to oversee the job). For a company that states they pay attention to the details, they should make sure they are applied to the entire home. For the money and the amount of manpower applied to my house, I expected a much more thorough job.
