| - Ok, first I realize this is an Emergency Animal Clinic, that means that there are crisis animals that come in that are more in need then my dog was. TOTALLY understand! However, let me tell you what happened.
10am we walk in with my dog who is visibly shaking. There are 3 other patient/groups in the waiting room.
10:15am we are triaged in the waiting room by a vet tech. Who says "I can't even get your pulse from your shaking."
12:15pm Rolls around. There is NO ONE in the waiting room except us. 2 people that have been in the waiting room have already left, and 1 I didn't see when we walked in left as well.
I ask...how much longer for a room? 15-30 minutes.
1pm We finally get called back to a room, a NEW vet tech takes my dogs temp, apologizes for the wait says they have had a "rush" and the dr will be right in.
Now...I can hear the staff talking, mostly the woman up front about her insurance, and how they wanted her to pay 1000.00. Lady. No one cares, I can assure you the guy sitting up there with you didn't care either. This is also the time I over hear they have 2 doctors working. Not just one. I also over hear "Yeah, I already triaged 2 its been waiting (We were room 2).
1:45pm rolls around I am livid at this point, my dog is miserable. I walk out and ask "So how much do I owe you for the thermometer in the butt?! I am leaving!"
I get told, "Nothing but the doctor can see you now."
EXCUSE ME? I've been waiting for almost 4 hours and only after I get absolutely pissed off you tell me the doctor can see me now, and charge me 100.00 JUST TO LOOK AT MY DOG LET ALONE ANY TESTS!? No. No thank you, I don't think so.
Stay away from this place. The front desk guy was extremely polite and I appreciated his efforts, everyone else was too self absorbed in their personal life to care about what was going on.
