I wasn't really impressed with Elite Transportation because I think that the name is a bit misleading.
The definition (s) of "Elite" The choice or best of anything considered collectively as of a group or class of persons" "Persons of the highest class". It's a bit of a stretch in my opinion to operate under the name of Elite when the services fall short of anything of what the definition of that word really means.
For starters I was invited along with some of my friends from out of town that were excited about a vegas party bus experience. We were instructed to meet at the House of Blues located inside of Mandalay Bay at promptly 8:30 PM. Now with that being said of course there were obvious reasons as to why we didn't actually get the show on the road until 9:20PM. I get it! They expect people to be late so that part I was ok with I guess. Upon arriving we were greeted at the host stand and explained a list of directions and rules! The most important which was signing the waiver that basically says DO NOT THROW UP ON THE BUS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHARGED A $500 CLEANING FEE! Within this conversation we were told that the alcohol choices for the night were Captain Morgan, Cuervo, and SKY Vodka! Which all translated to me as "CHEAP" all you can drink (supposedly) open bar type of thing. One word MISLEADING and I'll get to why in the next few paragraphs.
First stop of the night before we even got on the party bus was the Foundation Room inside of Mandalay Bay. This package includes your VIP entry to all of the nightclubs so they (hosts of the tour) walk you up and get You situated so that you may enter the club. Foundation Room was just okay I mean we enjoyed the view and that was about it. You are given instructions on what time to be down so that they can get you to the next activity in which this case was going to the party bus.
Once a head count had been made we were all split into two different groups to take two separate party buses. Oh yeah by the way you will share this tour with other random people so make friends in the beginning because this is who you will be partying with for the night. The bus itself inside wise was pretty cool but it was HOT! Wow. So the A/C pretty much sucked because it was blowing but barely and not very cold. The drinks situation is quite interesting because the open bar concept is low key fraudulent. When you factor in the amount of time it takes to pour the drinks to every person on the bus and the short distance of rides to each club you get in one or maybe two drinks in total. The host of the tour controls the bottles like playing a mini bartender or whatever and is in charge of filling your red cups up. The options we had on our bus was Captain Morgan, SKY VODKA and Bud Light..YUCK to all. What happened to the shots? And the Cuervo tequila shots? My friends and I wanted tequila but oh this request was ignored once and then later when we questioned the host about it we were told it was on another bus. Huh?! Bait and Switch tactics I see. As a local we pick up on the gimmicks and bullshit a bit quicker than the tourist do. I already knew what kind of operation this was and wasn't really happy.
My suggestion is to get your own damn flask of whatever you want to drink and use the services just for the different VIP club entries. Aside from Foundation Room, they brought us to HYDE inside of Bellagio and last stop is at TAO located inside The Venetian. Make sure you arrange transportation to get fro TAO because they do NOT bring you back to the original pick up location. With everything they offer I'd say the music on the party bus and the club perks might've been the only two good things. Overall my group of friends had fun but said we all agreed that we'd probably never choose this company again.
