We go here on a fairly regular basis. This past Saturday, late afternoon/early evening was the most recent. After finally beating my able to find someone to answer our questions we thought we were all set. She was very helpful, took us to what we were looking for, and gave us some very helpful tips. Great, despite the very clear shortage of employees.
Gathered up the rest of our items to go to the register. Only two were open and were backed up down the product rows. 15 minutes later and still in line barely having moved. An employer leaving the store had even jumped on the speaker to ask for more cashiers before she left. No one showed up. I even tried calling the store and it just said no one was available to answer. Finally one more cashier showed up and we were able to get checked out.
Poor scheduling? Maybe everyone at dinner at the same time or in a meeting? One of the two cashiers was clearly fairly new and the other tried to help back and forth as much as she could. Not their fault at all.
