  • Sadly, my last review of IMR Massage. I am moving to Phoenix. Once upon a time, leaving Elliott Reed was unimaginable. My pain was too bad. He gave me the only solid relief after years of trial and error. Seriously: As I considered other jobs in other places, I mentally factored in replacing Elliott would be impossible and maybe moving was not an option. Now, five years later, my condition is almost nonexistent on a daily basis, thanks to Elliott's ministrations along with strength training. I have had 100+ massages from Elliott since 2013. Every single one was excellence: In his work, in how it felt, in how I was greeted, in how my account was managed. (Well, all online and through prepaid sessions, which made it super easy.) I never once felt Elliott did not give me his full attention during the entire time I was receiving a massage. IMR Massage has only 5 star reviews, and every one of them is deserved. Best of all, Elliott and I learned a lot about each other's lives, and shared plans and ideas. (I'm proud to say I introduced him to floatation tanks!) Elliott is a stellar businessman. It's amazing to think he was a one-person, one-room shop when I started, and now he has his own storefront with 9 massage therapists and 13 employees. He will continue to grow and expand, and I am excited for him. Just walk into his mini-spa on Eastern and see what I mean - the ambiance, decor, aromas, staff greeting. He is such an excellent businessperson he even gave me a going-away gift at my last massage. (I'm having a sad - I will miss you Elliott! Thank you for the gift, which I am already enjoying.) And he even helped me find a resources for future Phoenix massages with cupping - going to book first one soon. But already doubt they will live up to the consistent excellence of Elliott and IMR Massage. My loss of IMR Massage is someone else's gain. Take my regular spot with Elliott. You are extremely lucky to get it.
